Universal Studios

One of the main reasons we wanted to go to Florida, was to see the Harry Potter part of Universal Studios.  It was the most crowded part of our entire trip, but it was very enjoyable.  I didn’t ride the rides because I was starting to get a little nervous about the giant red circles with lines through it over the expectant mother figures, but the kids went and Jason said they were great.

I loved all the details that went into every single thing the eye could take in.  I know the photos I took do not do it justice, but here is just a little taste:

Jason and I both agree Harry Potter could and should be it’s own theme park.  There are so many more avenues they could explore.

We tried Butter Beer (it’s like cream soda without the fizz), Pumpkin Juice (tastes like Pumpkin Pie but liquid and cold), Peppermint Toads (totally delicious, wish we had bought two packs), and ate lunch at the Three Broomsticks.

Ollivander’s Wand Shop has a short presentation that has a very long line, but the interior was so cool and the actor delightful.  The girls both picked out their own wands and they have been Expelliarmussing me ever since.

Seuss Landing was so cute.  We made a quick stop there for a Merry-go-round ride before we left.  We skipped all the crazy coasters as Lolly was freaked out by Forbidden Journey and I couldn’t ride any of them.
