Hair!

hairI cut Lolly’s hair!  After, I made sure to blow dry it under to conceal any mistakes.  I am not the BEST hair dresser and her hair goes on forever! She looks pretty darling with it, though I will miss the high bun!

  1. I’m a forever reader (since as long as I can remember), so…hello! Miss Lolly seems to be changing so much these days – a blossoming radiance within, no?

Onto the unrelated: I am ready to teach myself to crochet. Where to begin? Books or blogs you’d suggest? I know how to get my craft on, but I’ve pushed this part of me aside for awhile while adjusting to life with three of my own. Thanks for any starter tips!

    • Hi Linden! Crocheting! Ah! Where did I begin? I think I probably started with picture tutorials but there are SO MANY great video tutorials out there…. Here’s one: http://www.michaels.com/videos/MIOS1Vm3311,default,pg.html

When searching I would search for the basic skills: chain single crochet double crochet half double crochet

Pick a pattern that is labeled easy and learn the necessary stitches as required. It takes practice! You can do it!

and yes, Lolly is definitely blossoming, she is so fun.

  2. I always thought Lolly looked more like Jason, but I just glanced from this pic of her to your pic on the right side of the screen and WHOA. Maybe age is bringing out her resemblance to you!
