Just when I started feeling a bit better, and right before Christmas, I took the girls to Crafternoon at the NYPL. It was really fun because not only did the girls really get into the craft (embroidered, felt ornaments), but we also met Crafternoon author Maura Madden (I could die over her skirt!) and Sewing in a Straight Line author Brett Bara. It was a wonderful afternoon spent with my girls, and we look forward to going back again. I heart NYC that there is a Crafternoon free to the public, complete with vintage sheets tablecloths!
